Caddo Lake is a great place for canoeing and
kayaking. There is no better way to see and truly experience Caddo Lake than by
paddle power. With the endless water trails and calm waters, Caddo Lake affords
those that like to canoe and kayak an opportunity to see some of the most
beautiful areas of the lake that are not accessible by large motor boats, areas
where wildlife is more abundant and intruded on less by humans.
Caddo Lake can be a bit hard to navigate for those that are not familiar
with it. There are marked boat roads through out the lake and it is
recommended that you obtain a map of Caddo and give some study of it
before going out.
Maps can be obtained at any of the local businesses.
